This web portal is part www.gbtbolivia.com Grupo Boliviano de Turismo SRL GBT our monthly magazine that has a 31-year-old monthly circulation continuously since May 1981.
Its contents specializes in general tourist information, presenting an information content and journalistic endeavor in the industry in its many facets and angles uncommon with a complete directory of all services national tourist area.
The GBT distribution is done through the subscriber market, bearing the date 3000 placed 200 copies which are required nationally and internationally. The magazine is sold in all the capitals and cities of Bolivia, including provinces and localities. In terms of going abroad, GBT comes to Northern Argentina, Chile (Santiago, Arica and Iquique), Peru (Lima, Cuzco, Puno) and USA (Washington DC, Orlando and Miami).
To date and under the regularity and quality of its content, the magazine has earned several awards for journalistic and services, being certified as the Deputy Minister of Tourism, the only specialized media nationwide. The magazine has been awarded several prizes, among which: Kantuta Gold (highest award of the tourism industry of Bolivia), Journalist of the Year, Best newspaper article, Medal of Merit for Services, Marriott International Golden Circle Award.
Our universe of readers subscribe to different areas, has conquered market segments distributed as follows: 50 percent in the Commercial Aviation and Tourism, 20 percent to the Industry, Trade and Banking, 20 percent to embassies, consulates and other diplomatic accreditation, in addition to NGOs, education centers, consortia legal and medical, social institutions (Golf Club, Union Lane, La Paz, Tennis Club, Santa Cruz Country Club and other similar), and 10 percent to Central Government and the Legislative and Judicial.
GBT does not sell products neither tourist services in Bolivia, therefore our task is to promote the destination and support the increase of the tourism flow to Bolivia.
