16 km from the city. Birthplace of the national hero, the guerrilla Manuel Eustaquio Mendez, nicknamed “Moto”.  One can appreciate the authentic Spanish colonial style of cobbled streets, straw roofs and buildings with balconies and grates, among which one finds the house of "Moto" Mendez, considered a museum.
